What growers are saying about Maxentis®

“We got in early, when the disease pressure was not as great, and it was effective. The dual mode of action works well as another tool, and we will look to use it again this year in certain situations.”

Chris Kellock, Lake Rowan & Dookie, VIC and at Mulwala, NSW.
Grows wheat and hybrid RR canola, using a mix of fungicides to guard against powdery mildew resistance. Working with agronomist Tony Kelly from Advanced Ag, based at Shepparton, he used the new Maxentis® fungicide last year.

Application

Maxentis® controls blackleg & sclerotinia in canola; septoria, powdery mildew & rusts in wheat; net blotches, powdery mildew & PLS in barley; and RLL, septoria, and rust in oats.

Ground Application

In canola, wheat, barley and oats, apply Maxentis® using a spray volume of 70–100 L/ha in a medium spray quality.

Aerial Application

In canola, wheat, barley and oats, apply Maxentis®using a minimum spray volume of 20 L/ha and a medium spray quality.

For sclerotinia control in canola, good coverage throughout the canopy is essential. Using a higher spray volume for ground application (100 L/ha) and aerial application (30 L/ha) to improve coverage.
