What growers are saying about Proviso®

“It was applied at flag leaf in the wheat to get an extra prothioconazole application on the crop, instead of just spraying the normal straight epoxiconazole, and the mix did a good job,”

Tom Crettenden, Cockaleechie, Lower Eyre Peninsula, SA, with agronomist Patrick Head from Nutrien Cummins Ag Services Grows wheat, canola and faba beans. Used Proviso® to help combat powdery mildew and septoria in Tom's wheat last season.

Impact of Asorbital formulation technology on prothioconazole activity

Demethylation Inhibitor (DMI) fungicides like Proviso® inhibit development of an important sterol production enzyme in fungi. Sterol is essential for cell membrane development. The solubility of DMI fungicides varies, as does their ability to penetrate the waxy surface layers of leaves and their mobility once absorbed. This has a direct impact on efficacy and crop safety.

Proviso ®

Asorbital formulation technology delivers the active ingredient (prothioconazole) rapidly – from the droplet contact point on the leaf, through the waxy cuticle, and into the translocation stream within the plant, for local redistribution to the site of action in the fungal hyphae. This breakthrough technology avoids any of the risks of crop damage normally associated with rapid leaf surface uptake and translocation.
