Ultro® Australian Trial results

Annual ryegrass

  • In Australian trials Ultro® offered equivalent or superior control of annual ryegrass compared to industry standards.
  • Ultro® provides consistent control of annual ryegrass for up to 3 months after application. Increasing the application rate of Ultro® also reduced variability of control.

Controlling annual ryegrass on lighter soil textures

Trials in Western Australia and the Victorian Mallee showed more consistent annual ryegrass control than industry standards, when applied at 1.1 kg/ha. Ultro® also provides good weed control under a wide range of soil textures, soil moisture and rainfall situations, compared with industry standards.
